We are a full-service architecture and development firm serving private clients, developers, and institutions across Southern California. Our work spans residential and commercial typologies — from custom homes and boutique hospitality to mixed-use development and everything in between. What we believe
Architecture is a public act. Even the most private residence shapes a street, a neighborhood, a city. We take that responsibility seriously — designing with care for context, community, and the long arc of time.
We also believe that great design should be accessible. That is why we work across scales and budgets, bringing the same level of craft and commitment to a 1,200-square-foot ADU as to a 15-room boutique hotel. Every project deserves to be done well.

Luis antonio echevarria, aia
Luis Antonio Echevarria has spent over a decade designing spaces that endure — not just structurally, but culturally. Since entering the field in 2012, he has built a body of work across Southern California's most demanding and distinctive project types: boutique hotels and wineries among the vineyards of Temecula's wine country, and custom residences across Temecula and San Diego that reflect the singular vision of each client.
Educated at the NewSchool of Architecture & Design in the heart of San Diego, Luis brings a regional fluency to every project — a deep understanding of how California's light, landscape, and lifestyle should shape built form. He is licensed through the California Architects Board, reflecting a commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards in the field.
Luis founded Echevarria Architecture & Development on a simple belief: that the best architecture emerges when a single, committed designer sees a project through from the first sketch to the final detail. His clients — developers, private homeowners, and hospitality operators — return to that belief again and again. They come not just for the design, but for the trust.
